Today’s College (Wonder) Women
Based on her work at Rider with the Women’s Leadership Council, Kris Myers will share her impressions on college women’s interests, role models, values, and causes. This talk will explore what Gen Z students are thinking about and how young women see themselves, and the status of women overall, in today’s world
Kris Myers has over 20 years experience working in women’s and girls leadership, designing leadership and women’s history programs for middle and high school girls at the Alice Paul Institute, and later coordinating leadership programs with Rider University’s Women’s Leadership Council. She has taught women’s studies and women’s history courses as an adjunct professor at Rowan College at Burlington County, Camden County Community College, and TCNJ. Kris currently works as the Manager of Grants & Foundation Relations at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia.
