Gun Safety Rally

Gun Safety Rally sponsored by SJ NOW Indivisible, Concerned SJ Citizens. Moms Demand Action, and Mt. Laurel Democratic Club, held every Tuesday, 5:30-6:30pm (weather permitting, including light rain, but not heavy rain or thunderstorms). Intersection of Rt 38West and Ark Road in Mt. Laurel (park in nearby Aldi’s Lot). Response from passing cars by has been extremely positive. NJ generally has strong gun laws, but areas of improvement, recommended by the Gabby Giffords Center, for NJ Assembly includes (1) increase funding for community violence intervention programs; (2) raise minimum age for purchasing firearms from 18 to at least 21; and (3) close gaps in assault weapons and ghost gun laws.
